General Questions:
How long is the Rental for?
We drop off the inflatables between 10am-12pm we start picking them back at 6:00pm.
How far in advance should I make my reservation?
Because our inflatables are very popular, we recommend that you make your reservation as soon as possible. One month in advance would be ideal BUT don't be discouraged to check on availability for a event date that will occur in less than a month frame as we do sometimes have last minute cancellations and date switches.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, credit/debit cards and money orders.
Is the security deposit refundable?
Depends. Your deposit will be refunded, transfered to another available date, or be kept as future booking credit (whichever you prefer) if you cannot keep
your reservation due to weather conditions. Any other reasons for cancellations, your deposit will NOT be refunded to you. Our inflatables are VERY popular and rented frequently and last
minute cancellations do not allow us to rent the unit for that day. If for any reason you should cancel the reservation, Your deposit will be kept as compensation for a lost reservation.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require that you cancel your reservation at least 7days in advance of the date of your event. If you cancel within the 7 days window to your event your deposit will be non-refundable. If you cancel 7 days prior to your event and your cancellation is due to weather, your deposit will be refunded in full. Our inflatables are very popular and rented frequently and last minute cancellations do not allow us to rent the unit for that day. Once an Inflatable is set up, balance is due in full and no refund will be given.
We also have the right to cancel your reservation due to weather or family emergencies. In the case that we do cancel your reservation you will be refunded in full or re-scheduled for another day, which ever one you choose. If you choose to be re-scheduled you will receive a 10% off discount and if you choose to receive a refund you will receive a 10% off no expiration coupoun.

Inflatable/Bouncer Questions:
Is there a difference between an inflatable, bounce house, moonwalk and a
combo?
Inflatables is an industry term that represents all inflatable amusement rides. Bounces, Moonwalks, Bounce Houses, Bouncers, Jumpers, Jump House, Moon Bounce and
Space Walks are all terms used to describe a basic inflatable jumper. Usually there is no difference between them. A Combo unit combines a bouncer and features that are often found on other
inflatable structures, such as a slide, into a single inflatable.
Can the inflatables be set up inside?
Yes. We can set up the inflatables both indoors and outdoors.
What power is required for inflatables?
The blower requires a 110 volt, 20 amp Its best that the dedicated-circuit is within 50 feet of the set up area, but not required, our extension cords
reach up to 100 feet.
If you do not have that much power on your circuit, or no power at all, a generator will be needed. You can easily rent a generator from just about any hardware store.
Can I pick up the inflatable and set it up
myself?
No. We take safety seriously therefore we
require that a member of our trained staff delivers the inflatable to you so we can assist you to determining a suitable location for set-up and setting up the proper and safe way.
We will also review the proper safety and operational instructions with the party attendants. Since we include delivery, set-up and pick-up, we hope you enjoy this service and use
the additional time to finalize the details of your event.
What happens if we damage the inflatable?
If damage occurs the first thing to do is have everyone exit the ride. You will need to assess the damage and call our staff to
speak with a representative before allowing anyone back in the ride. We do not offer damage insurance. If damage occurs that is beyond normal wear and tear, you will be responsible for the repair
or replacement costs.
When we return to pick up the equipment, it will be briefly inspected for any damages beyond ordinary normal wear and tear. "Ordinary wear and tear" shall mean only the normal deterioration of the rental equipment caused by ordinary, reasonable and proper use of the rental equipment.
Equipment Damage which is not ordinary wear and tear includes, but is not limited to, cutting or tearing of any, vinyl or netting, damage due to overturning, overloading, exceeding rated capacities, breakage, improper use, abuse, lack of cleaning, contamination of or dirtying of rental equipment with non-approved items such as chemicals, food, paint, silly string, mud, clay, sand, toys, rocks or other materials.
What should I do if we have a problem?
If you experience a problem a Jumping Smilez representative is ready to assist. Please
contact us at 910-265-7392 and we will attempt to resolve the issue over the phone or come to your location if needed.
What do I do if it starts raining?
Our Inflatables are not made to hold water like a water slide and they become very slippery and dangerous when wet, all users should immediately and carefully exit. There is also a risk of blower short circuit with rain, so inflatables MUST be exited IMMEDIATELY if rain starts.
In case of rain, turn off blower and move it to a dry and covered location. Once the inflatable deflates, remove anchors from ground and fold inflatable in half. Cover the inflatable with the remaining part of the tarp from under the inflatable. When rain stops you can open the inflatable and blow it up and it will be virtually dry for you. If any parts of the inflatable get dry during rain, you will have to COMPLETELY dry the inflatable with towels or shammies before allowing any users back on to avoid any injuries due to wet vynil.
What do I do If we get High Winds?
If there are high winds or gusts over 15 mph have everyone carefully and
immediately exit the moonwalk and turn the blower off. With winds higher than 15mph there is danger of the inflatable tipping over. So this is a crucial rule that MUST be followed to
prevent injuries.
How much space is needed for an Inflatable Bouncer?
There should be at least 5 feet of clearance on all sides of the inflatable. This is to provide the attendant room to observe the participants and provides the unit
clearance from snagging while it flexes or is being inflated or deflated. There should also be adequate height above the unit. You can view the dimensions for each inflatable on
our "Inflatables" page. The location should have minimum slope and be free of rocks, limbs, debris and animal waste.
Are there any Cleaning Fees?
Yes. If at the pick up of the rental the unit is dirty with anything other than usual normal wear and tear, you will be either responsible for cleaning the unit yourself at the time of pick up or be charged a $25.00 cleaning fee.
Cleaning fees will only apply if any items that are not allowed on the ride are found on the ride upon pick up. Such items include but are not limited to:
gum, candy, any food of any kind, spilled drinks, rocks, debris, limbs, animal waste, tissues, leftover party supplies, garbage, chemicals, paint, silly string, confetti, extensive mud, clay, sand, toys or any other items not allowed in the rides.
